Speaking of armor... I still have a Mobtown Fuel Tank Skid Plate for sale. It fits my 3rd Gen DCSB. Selling it for $100 if anyone is interested. I also have an RCI Diff Skid for sale.

Update: Sold the RCI Skid. So, just the fuel tank skid is available.

Soon to have these up for sale. The paint is still wet in the photos but they came out satin black. The wheels were in pretty rough shape so I sanded of all the cancer and flaking clear, built back up the low spots with heavy primer (2-3 coats), sanded them even, then did 4 coats of satin black with light sanding in between. Two coats of satin clear will go on today and then they’ll be up for sale. 17x7 4runner sport wheels from the 03-09 generation (best toyota ever made)

Afternoon all.

I gotta try and figure out my front end squeak. I’m not sure if it’s my SPC uppers, radiator mount or something else. I’ve spray lubed most things but the radiator mount. The arms have been on for about a year and a half, greased every 6 months or 5K miles with about 8 pumps of the grease SPC recommends. It’s also the latest design with bushings and all.
Sometimes I can rock the truck to get the arms moving and hear it but can’t tell what it’s coming from other then the wheel well.
I plan on pulling the tire off and disconnecting the arm from spindle to see if there is anything.

 

I don't know if this will help, but check the front body mounts. We've seen a couple of these at the dealer I work at.

 

Thanks! They are on the list to check out. At 16k miles I’d hope not but have read about them going out early. I was going to get in the group buy for the new bushing kit but house stuff took priority.

 

If you dont find it by the weekend bring it over and we can both look at it.

Question. So as I'm pondering the idea of replacing my front struts and rear shocks, I've discovered that my rear shocks (Bilstein p/n 33-187174) appears to have been discontinued. Anyone know of a direct replacement part for this? Can be from any reputable company.

I haven't done much research but just wanted some input from others first. This is for my 3rd gen T4R with the Sonoran Steel Classic 1.2 setup. So I've got LC80 springs in the rear.

 

I just emailed ARB and Inquired about the OME offerings. But if anyone else has any other input please feel free to let me know!

 

How's the on road ride quality? I'm not wheeling my rig these days so I want the best shock for overall comfort and is capable of handling the rear springs.
