    my 2.7L feels like it has a supercharger with ECT mode on at 3500 RPM. it's like a shot of nitrous. it's a pretty significant power increase. it accelerates like crazy even up steep hills.

    I drive a Miata.
    Today is a good day, I always love the first week when the weather breaks and you can cruise with the windows down.

    An Elantra with fenders that were at least two different colors and neither of them were original pulled up next to me, noticing my windows-down chill status. He rattled his pep-boys catback exhaust and gave the up-nod. The gauntlet was thrown.

    The light turned green and we were neck and neck for a minute, but that mighty 3.5 spooled up and I smoked him. It's always satisfying to hear that "ptttttth" muffler wheeze slowly fade into the horizon behind you. Motley Crue was on the radio.

    Today, I am the king of Centreport boulevard.
