Deleted chrome bumpers today with Bumpershellz. Looks so much better on my MGM. Blackout is complete until I do headlights and tailights.

The bumper caps really change the look in my opinion. I would also look into getting different taillights without the chrome inside. Really completed the appearance.

I have to disagree with you. I have the inserts and I think it’s a nice subtle touch. Still looks way better.

I tackled the lift by myself in my driveway. It was tough. It was just me. Looking back, I would have finished waaaaay sooner if I had gotten some help. If I change my suspension down the road, I'll definitely have help. The bushing was no where near as bad, in my opinion. It was a little nerve-racking making sure pieces of the bearing didn't fall back into the case, but the videos out there on removal and installation are really good. I bought the removal tool, not the installation tool. I felt the removal tool was worth it. The space is limited. Installing the bushing was a lot like installing a pinion seal on a rear end. It was as expected: a pain but nothing I hadn't done before. Whatever you decide to do, good luck!

Oh cool. Would you mind posting a pic, and where you got your letters? I'm not opposed, but I haven't seen them on MGM. If I do it, I'll have to splurge and get the chrome delete for the raised letter emblems.

So, yesterday I installed the anytime front camera and the decal on the sensor cover thing. Well, I did some of the install but my S/O soldered the wires. I guess I ordered the one you have to solder wires to but luckily someone in my household was handy and had the tools already lol.

I mounted it on a bracket I got from @mdh_us and it made the mounting part super easy. I really liked the holes were pre drilled for the grill mount annd the hole I had to drill myself for camera placement/preference.

Since I had to remove the grill anyway, I finally decided it was a good time to place the decal on the Toyota logo that I got from c_mento_taco_808 about a year ago. I accidentally broke one of tabs on it but superglued it back.

Overall, it was kind of a struggle the front camera kit but got it done. And here’s a picture to show.

I think next, I’ll get around to installing the shift knob I got from @oostroma in the near future. I just procrastinate A LOT.

I really like those wheels. They are on my short list of wheels I'm considering when I have to get new tires.

I got them on Amazon. Subtle but totally worth it. They are more noticeable when it is brighter out obviously. Tailgate Insert Letters... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08GWW6299?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

Installed the Caliraised LED Premium Roof Rack. I just finished the install today. A couple notes...the video on their webpage helps a lot. Watched it several times pre-installation and during install. But for me, the side panels and extrusions did not match exactly and it was a pain in the ass to get all the screws all the way in. Mounting lights, front panels and rear panels pretty straight forward, but the side panels were a real b*tch.

The wiring harness for the light bar was helpful, but the 2-pin DTP plug on the wiring harness did not match the 2-pin plug on the light. Had to cut the plugs off and solder/heat shrink, etc to get the light to work. That was disappointing.

With those couple negative notes, I do like the looks of the rack. I like the flip up light bar cover. I haven't driven too far today, but haven't noticed any wind noise so far. But I haven't been over 50 mph. I will hit the highway tomorrow and have a better idea then.

Pics show headlights and light bar comparison and rack with light bar cover opened and closed. IMG_2093.HEIC.jpg IMG_2095.HEIC.jpg IMG_2097.HEIC.jpg IMG_2092.HEIC.jpg

Yes, subtle was exactly the word that came to mind when I saw the pics. They do look pretty good. Thanks!

Installed OEM Tailgate Lock with a remote, swapped wheels to trd pro's and Falken tires. Installed trd pro tail lights. Sound deadening and speakers upgrade next..

TRD PRO Exhaust worth it or not? I can't decide.. is it really same as stock or at least a little different sound?

Really getting stuff done fast! I was the same way. What do you plan to do for speaker upgrade? Any plans for a lift?

Thanks I appreciate the info. I really like doing things myself for savings and gaining experience. I just worry some of this may be a little over my head, mainly the ECGS installation. I also really hate asking others for help.

Yeah I want to do it all at once and be done with it so I can enjoy it :)
I was stretching out on mods with 4runner until the better half crashed it to the point where I had to sell it... ( luckily it was good time to sell )

Noico sound deadening, JBL speakers swapp to the better JBL's, doors only.

so far I like it without the lift but will see , maybe in the future will go with Eibach's stage 2 but might need help with that one...

I’m in the same boat. I have modified to the point where I am content, however I am now considering a lift. It never ends!
