That small gap is not in plane with load-bearing so you're fine.

As far as instructions with the gear set, honestly nothing aftermarket comes with instructions anymore. If there isn't a QR code somewhere on the packaging to scan there's probably something on their website. Also YouTube has about 6,418 videos on how to do a gear setup when replacing or upgrading gears.

    Good luck

    Torque specs are like poop

    Satisfying when you finish

Frustrating when you can't get to it

Thank you. I did it tight with a few grunts and just a few minutes ago I drove around the subdivision and stopped and checked the bolts again. Snugged a few up again to spec and I'll do the control arms again here after I drive to work and back a few times to keep an eye on it.

Definitely a lil squirley but new wheels/tires and alignment will happen on Wednesday

Yep, I did it a couple times tonight to be sure. I'll check it again after I drive 270 a few times back and forth.

Also, been meaning to do a YOHB but any firemen in Creve Coeur on here that drive a red 3rd gen. Great looking truck. Quite a few firemen eat at my restaurant but I always get pulled away and can't ask whose truck it is.

Yea...I mean it's technically instructions on how to do it but the questions most guys would have wouldn't be how to put back the thing they took off. It would be random questions like greasing instructions before use, type of grease recommended, why did you give me 8 washers, how often or how much to grease the joint for service intervals.

I did call them about a grease recommendation and they said they don't recommend anything in particular. Which I thought was kinda weird. Told him ok so nitro gear goesnt have one specifically but is there one you like to use on these as the technician. Dude said no again lol. He also told me they should be greased from the shop and I shouldn't have to but both arms where tagged out and said grease before installing. I never thought I'd get so confused by grease :annoyed:
