My Tacoma seams to slip on my 1st trip each day especially when I make my 1st turn which is only 1 block away. Dealer says there is no way to check the fluid level or add to it if it is low. Anyone else have these experiences?

Dealer is lying or stupid. There is a procedure in the factory service manual for checking ATF level.

Welcome to the forum :hattip:click on the "forums" tab at the top left of every page, lots of topics to explore here and lots of good folks to help.

I'm assuming you have an automatic.
There most certainly is a procedure to check and adjust the fluid level. Dealer just doesn't want to do it, find a better dealer if you can. You should still be under warranty also?

I'm sure some of the automatic members will chime in soon here.

While you are waiting read some of this thread, I can't vouch for this as it doesn't apply to me, mine is a manual.

    Welcome to TW.
I wouldn’t go back to that dealership.
And I would call Toyota Corporate and let them know what you are being told.
If for no other reason, so that Toyota can have someone go to that dealership and train the Techs on how to check and service the transmission.

Definitely shouldn’t be slipping. No slip here. Tranny does what is supposed too.

Get level checked. have them drive it when cold.
