I've tried disconnecting and reconnecting my phone and also tried to restart the stereo but nothing works.

Can’t say that I’ve seen that happen to mine. I usually just connect through the cable and rarely play music through Bluetooth.

Mine occasionally does that, but most of the time it switches over to show the normal audio player screen after a minute or so. I blame my Pixel3 phone...there have been weird glitches in a lot of apps lately.

Probably needs a radio software update. I have updated a hundred for various bluetooth related issues.

I have a Pixel 6 and have had it for months without this happening. Do you think it might be the music app I'm using on my phone?

Does the update have to be done through the dealer?

Not sure, can't really see why the app would cause this. I use an app called Free Music, have used it since the google music app Google Play Music (which worked great) was deactivated - although I still can't delete it from the phone :luvya:

I have noticed the phone has gotten finicky with the glitches I mentioned on various apps, and also how it connects via Bluetooth. Seems to connect automatically when I don't want it to, and not connect automatically when I do want it to.
