I've had my truck since new and have been through two sets of Wet Okoles in that time. This most recent set only lasted about four years. I think the wear is due to my kids climbing in and out of the back seat with their backpacks and baseball gear and whatever else. So I'm looking for some new covers. Is there anything that fits as well and looks as good as the Wet Okoles (great on both accounts) but that might stand up to this level of abuse? Thanks.

Just buy the full set of Clazzio leathers. They might be $100 or so more than the neoprene but more bullet proof and look 100% better, IMO.

I had the Coverkings, identical to Okele and that set through Costco was close to $600 for front/back. I grew tired of the look after 5 months and decided to sell them....until my wife reminded me we bought them at Costco. Peeled them off and took them in to the store. Said I didn't like 'em anymore. ChaChing...."here's $600, thanks for shopping Costco!" I immediately bought the Clazzios and they are bitchin. Much nicer than the leather that Toyota supplies in the new Tacomas.

If you can't live with leather, buy at Costco. They have a sale that just came in today's mail, ironically. Costco.com

I just checked their site but it looks like Clazzio doesn't currently offer a set for the 1st gens.

Dammit! Sorry I didn't realize you were fitting a 1st Gen. My bad.

If you can get the neoprenes at Costco, they are a bit tougher than what you have. Precise fit like yours but they have a lot more seam work on the bolster edges but otherwise the same.

They will repair them for $20 a panel which seems pretty reasonable. Not sure if that helps you much.

Looks like there are a couple different Carhartt ones currently for 1st gen bucket seats:
    • There are the SeatSavers which are $272.69 in tan or grey.
    • There are the PrecisionFit which are $403.19 in tan or grey.
    • There are the Super Dux SeatSavers which are $289.79 in black.
    • There are the Super Dux PrecisionFit which are $420.29 in black.
From what I can tell the PrecisionFit have some padding and a snugger fit compared to the SeatSavers but it also looks like the stitching isn't as sturdy. Looks like the Super Dux then gives you these same styles in 1000 Denier Cordura instead of the Carhartts pants material. I think the ones I've seen on this site are the regular SeatSavers. Anyone tried any of the others?
