Are these the proper places for hooks?

    Hi.

    I have had my 2012 Tacoma for a while, yet when was lifted to replace the tires, I checked on these (attached images). Are these the "official" /normal spots to place hooks in case the truck get stucked?

    Your first image is the closest thing you have to recovery point, the second one is only a flatbed tow and shipping tie down point, if you try to recover from it you will rip that straight off, the bolted on connection is more of a tow connection if you try yolking from it you are also liable to rip it off.
