My deepest condolences to you for the loss of your loving Garbonzo. He looks like he was very much loved.

 

Godspeed to ALL of the kitts that crossed over to the other side! Condolences to their families and loved ones!

 

About 6 months ago, my wife wanted to foster kittens from a local shelter, but they didn’t have any so we fostered this big girl. And we kept her of course! Foster fail

This is Tabitha, we call her Tabs


For some reason she took to me more though and now we joke that she’s my girlfriend. Loves us both but really loves me, follows me around and wants me to carry her around like 6 or 8 times a day.

So the wife will come over some times and get “secondary snuggles” while I carry her around . But recently she transferred from my shoulder to my wife’s and it absolutely made her day.

 

HAHAHA, SO COOL!!!

But DAMN the Gods... THAT... IS... A... HUGE... CAT!!!

 

Thank you everyone for your thoughts about our loss. @GrizzledBastard, your post bought a tear to my eye and my wife actually cried quite a bit after reading it!

 

So sorry to hear about your loss and hope garbanzo is finally at peace. We too have a cat who has IBD and it’s a struggle finding the correct balance of diet and medication. I don’t know how much of her lifespan will be shortened because of it. Wishing you the best and sending prayers your way.

Very much AGREE!!! I don't like "liking" the posts and it's very hard for me to give condolences not that I don't care, it just hurts the heart too much.

 

I have the same feeling everytime about the liking thing and you're so right about responding. It often takes me back to when I was experiencing the identical hardships. I just have to remind myself that these aren't Facebook posts open to bizarre interpretations and misconstrued intent. We're all pretty much on the same page here and share a common bond with our kitty loving friends. I know what the "like" means!

Extremely funny (that should be expected knowing these knuckle-head cats) and very informative believe it or not.

Very interesting and it's 1hr 7min long if I remember right. So only about 1hr long, which sucks because of the antics these weirdos do?

They explain possible theories about why cats and their insane love for cardboard boxes.

 

That reminds me of a mother cat we had once that placed all her kittens into a tall skinny bathroom trash can. Poor little things just had to stay put until she decided to get them out! Wish I had taken a picture, they were squished in so tight they couldn't move! I took them out and hid the trash can!

Very sorry to hear/read about all the kitties that have crossed over to the big scratching post in the sky. They are in a better place, not suffering anymore. Best of luck in the grieving process. My thoughts are with you and your beloved fur children.
