Looking for something with winch mount that fits into the "cutout" already in the Tacoma's front bumper if possible. Any suggestions that don't require refinancing the house?

Dad sending this from Amazon and the price being way lower than I expected has me leaning toward a "no."
He likes the bottom one but it doesn't have the winch mounting plate he's looking for; top one says it needs some "modification" to fit, which isn't making me thrilled either:

Souther Style offroad bumper is the best looking option in my opinion. If you are not worried about pushing some pin striping obstacles to the side, every once in a while, that is would be my first choice.

I recently purchased the Icon Impact Bumper and installed it a few weekends ago. I was searching for a clean bumper that looks 'factory' but still allows me to install a winch & lightbar. Definitely worth considering!
    https://www.iconvehicledynamics.com...6-up-toyota-tacoma-impact-sport-front-bumper/

    Some factors to consider
    • I chose this over a stealth bumper with hoops due to styling (preference). Note that this bumper does not come with any shackle mounts like other stealth bumpers. I modified this bumper so I could reinstall my Relentless Fab recovery point.
    • Allowed me to install a winch, but if you are short (like me) you will have some difficulty turning the winch clutch and plugging in the wired winch controller. I'm planning to install a clutch extension and control pack relocation for easier access to the clutch & controller plug-in.
    • Bolted on fairly easily although I had to ream the holes a bit to give a bit more tolerance so I didn't have to force the bumper onto the mounting pins.
    • Hawaii requires that I run a front license plate so I'm waiting for that to be shipped so I can install that under the fairlead.

Thanks for the info. Personally, I like the Icon shown above but he likes one by DV8. I guess it will depend on the winch he goes with if the trans cooler will have to be moved/relocated?

I'm looking for the same. But I've read the DV8 doesn't quite hold up very well to winching and recovery. I'm also looking at the Body Armor Highline as well as the SS Off Road.

A lesser known company here but greenlane offroad makes a really light and robust aluminum offering that I have had on for over a year now and has held up to multiple recoveries

One huge pro here over others is you can access your freespool and remote plug/power switch without popping the hood

I have their alum sliders and they've been great! Good to hear you've been satisfied with thier bumper as well.
