We got coyotes bad too, need to hunt them but don’t. If I see one while deer hunting I will sling something at it :D

Nice snap @NoOne, we get two weekends a year on the east coast, gulf is year round I believe right?

When snapper weekend opens, its sheer chaos because every tom dick and harry in a 14 foot jon boat thinks they can get out to where you catch them. Coast guard is very busy those two weekends. The guys that can get out to them limit out in like 30 mins and then have to change directions a bit. 2 per person per boat really aint much. Make snapper season great again.

Todays count- 3 does, none in shooting range, 3 turkeys.

I made the tough decision to get off my hunting lease this year. But after calculating how much money and time I was putting into it I figured I can just buy a nice guided hunt every two years. It’s just temporary, but having 3 kiddos age 5 and under and working on a 4th kiddo, it just got to be too much. I decided that after my youngest kid turns 6 I can then either get another lease of buy some property. Plus when my oldest kiddo turns 7 I’ll start enrolling him in the youth hunt draws.

Memorial to Labor day… 3/day until annual quota is met. None under 16”. Amberjack and triggerfish are same season. I don’t chase tarpon and the like, but fun to watch. I don’t own a boat. Cheaper to charter a 50’ when you need it and an 18’ when you want to chase redfish, speckled trout, drum, etc. Bowfishing is in, as well as frogging. Again not my thing. When I was younger, would go shrimping, oyster diving, crabbing, crawfishing, etc. Shrimp was 200#/day.

I've been saying for a few years I wanna go scalloping on the west coast near Crystal River, but really you need one friend to drag a boat to snorkel from and you drag a camper to sleep in. I'm gonna do some shrimpin this winter, I've heard of a good spot near my camp.

My day has been a nice dichotomy of (supposed) "girl" jobs and "boy" jobs. Mowed the lawn, washed clothes, changed the oil in the Pilot and cooked supper. :p

My 7 year old weed eater and blower and starting to crap the bed. I’m thinking about going full cordless. Any recommendations?

    Need more info.

    Are these 110volt corded units?

If they are and they do the job proper, I'd stay with the corded version.

Cordless...gas or DC volt units will eventually fail and you are back were you started.
