Not a fan of most Armor All products, but their glass wipes work well. Why? Most glass wipe pouches are full of liquid. The wipes are so soggy wet, you have to dry the glass off afterwards. Armor All wipes aren’t soggy wet. There’s just enough cleaner on them to do the job without soggy excess liquid. No residue remains, leaving the glass clean and streak free.

Best thing I found was hot soapy water, clean towel and a squeegee. I used Dawn dish detergent ,wash half the window and squeegee. It seems to work and not streak.

Windex sucks! Might as well use white vinegar. I get some pretty heavy build up over the months until I get at it. Smoke, pollution, aerosols especially. Nothing cuts thru that buildup unless I first use Goof Off that painters use (the solvent kind). Then, I use Armor All Glass Wipes. They aren’t sloppy wet when you use them, and man, they dry absolutely streak free! I’m no fan of other Armor All products, but I am of their glass wipes.

There is nothing magical about cleaning glass. I'll stick specifically to the original question in the thread, cleaning the interior of glass. As someone else posted, interiors off-gas chemicals from the carpet, the adhesives, the plastics, etc. And this sticks to the glass along with whatever else may be floating in the air. It doesn't take a special cleaner to remove this. Use distilled water. It has no minerals to leave hard water spots. Add a little alcohol for additional cleaning and faster evaporation. And always use clean towels. I use XXL 100% cottom tee shirts. I wash them separately with minimum detergent, no softeners, and an extra rinse to be sure there is no residual detergent in the tees. With this method, if you find you are smearing the film on the glass, you probably have a heavy build up, and just need to keep cleaning, or you need to change to fresh towels, or turn them inside out. Think about the process. You are transferring the film from the glass to the towel. So do a 1st cleaning with one towel, then a 2nd with a fresh towel. And if you want your windows go up and down smooth as silk, detail wax the interior of them.
