    Close, Flatwoods is about an hour north on I-79 from there. We had a few folks on Teneres and Honda Africa Twin, a BMW GS1200, and a KTM 990 adventure amongst our group that did some dual sport routes. Last year I rode down to Pikesville, KY and the Matewan area.

    We went to look at the log cabin that served as the courthouse for the"pig trial" that set off the Hatfield-McCoy feud. Lot of interesting history down there.

    Dad gave us a part of a John Martin ham they won. So I did it up in the slow cooker while we worked today, cam home and added green beans and potatoes. Baked some biscuits, easy meal for this long Monday. Thanks Dad! Life is good!

    Sitting in my kitchen. I hear something odd outside. Damn dogs knocked the hose out of the pool and the boxer was taking a dirt bath. Probably 100gals dumped out of the pool. The shep wasn't that bad dirt wise the boxer on the other hand had to give him a bath.

    Ive been looking at some videos of the Africa Twin, it had caught my eye. Unfortunately my ground clearance is way to low to ride one comfortably, let alone if I got some trail riding in. The paddle shifting and auto transmission selection on that one model is really intriguing.
