    Hi,

I'm trying to find out where to find the back up light switch on my Tacoma 4WD automatic transmission pick up. It's a 6 cylinder, automatic trans, manual 4WD set up.

The back up lights are not working and I verified the fuse is good and the bulbs are ok.

Every time I try to look up anything about checking/replacing the switch, I get info about the manual transmission models, never the automatics.

Would help a lot if anyone could tell me exactly where the switch is located. Is it the neutral safety switch? Is it on the transmission? Is there any good videos or insteructions with pictures you could point me to?

    thanks

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
Should be pins 8 and 4 on the neutral safety switch plug on my 2000 in any case.

thanks for the info, but I'm not sure it applies. 2000 isn't the same as a 1995 I don't think.

I'm also not even sure where the neutral safety switch is located on this
