Bought a toyota tacoma 2019 trd pro 4x4
Enjoy the truck and look forward to what i can do with it.
Need advice on some of my tentative modifications.

Bought mud terrain 285/75/16 BFG tires and keeping the stock trd pro wheels. getting a 3 inch lift at 4x4 parts store in tacoma . Will be using a spacer and make some trimming to the front and rear wheel well.

what are words of wisdom I should use in doing this?
Is the store in tacoma reliable?
Are there disadvantages to using spacers?

    Thank you,
    Marshal

If you are in it for style, spacers (to a point), are fine. Ditch the spacers if you plan on using the truck seriously offroad.

Best to stay away from spacers is my vote too.! Your ride may not be what you want. Not planning to do much off roading?
Not sure why MUD tires. A bit more noisy, rougher riding. Sure the looks is very aggressive.
Hope you are getting a diff drop kit, newer upper control arms, sway bar Re-location kit. The correct size bump stops to match the lift size.

Toyota did a lot of research to develop the PRO suspension. You paid a lot more for the “Pro”. Do not undermine your suspension with a spacer. Just my thoughts here…OK.
