Found this topper on Marketplace at a dealer a couple hours away. It was Inferno & Black. It's the ARE Overland model. Has pet screens, rails with Yakima bars, carpet lined and front slider. My dealer quoted about $3400 for exact top and options. Bought it for $500 and spent $500 at my body shop to get it painted to match. Woulda preferred solid white but couldn't pass up this deal.

    Solid choice. Looks good

I like the two-tone, especially if you got new wheels. Reminds me of my 2003 4cyl manual I had a matching canopy.

Been toying with the idea of new TIRES, hadn't thought about wheels. The truck is a '22 with only 2400 miles so hate to just discard the tires. These are all over marketplace and it seems no one wants this size. May wait till I get a few miles out of them.
I do think a set of Off-Road wheels would look pretty good. If any one has an SR with those wheels, send me a pic.

I use to have those exact-ish looking wheels on my 2003 and sold them for like $15 a wheel when I got new ones. Hopefully they are worth more.

I had the same one. I liked it and I got it for a bargain. I then moved to an RSI after a couple road/camping trips. Couldn’t stand crawling in and out of the bed. Plus my two German shepherds shed a lot of hair which would be a pain to remove from the carpet liner. 77B98DB5-795C-44F2-86DD-313EB4D8688A.jpg

    Great score!
I know alot of forum members talk about how Tacomas are every other truck on the road. But that is really not true here in IL or WI. This is F150 and Ram country. Finding deals on Taco parts via FB or CL can be a real challenge.
Btw, where u at in southern IL?

You got a great deal! Nice score! I paid $3K for my Snugtop. I joke with my other Toyota buddies that I have the 'Poor-man's 4-Runner' .... A Taco with a shell... :D:thumbsup:

It looks great. When you get some solid black wheels it will really improve your truck with the matching top.

Good score! I like the contrast and especially the price!

You could carefully mask and spray paint the wheels if you want to tie in the look for almost no cash.

Seems the consensus is a set of the black wheels would complete the look. Anybody have a pic of an SR with some black wheels. Maybe a set of the factory ones that come on an SR5?

I play drums in a band is the main reason I got the top. Like the idea of a soft roll-up tonneau but the bed is not deep enough for my kit to fit with the cover on.

Discount tires bought my OEMs with 25k for $40 each when I upgraded All you hafta do is ask. Otherwise, their disposal fee equals free takeoffs to sell when someone comes in with a ruined tire. Shell looks cool as well!

    Absolute killer of a deal!

I like the stripe, makes the truck not look like an Orkin truck.
