Hi,

New here and I'm not handy AT all. I've read through everyone's threads about tapping in or using a harness to install a third brakelight for the softopper. But, what I'd like to know, can I just use the flat 4 pin from the factory tow package to install the 3rd brake light?

When I tow something, I'll just unplug it since you won't be able to see it anyway.

Just want to make sure I'm not missing something or if i'm going to screw up some functionality by using the 4 pin plug all the time, etc.
