    I was driving home
last night after a long day on the ship and nodded off. I was able to drive it home but the bumper was rubbing the tire. Any idea what it would cost me to fix it? Possibly considering parting her out.

Glad you are OK! Hopefully the damage is not too bad and you can get it fixed. But if you decide to go the part out route, I've got first dibs on the limited Tacoma seats...

Nah, I hit the guard rail, 1/2 way took out the speed limit sign. Called the Staties to report it. Kid that came was a good guy!

Damn, you know it was a hard hit when the steel plate bumper is dented on a corner.

With the price of used 1st gens nowadays, plus all the mods you've done, it's probably worthwhile to fix it up. You can price out all the lights and body panels on Rock Auto to get a feel for repair cost. Open the hood and check for damage to the condenser and radiator support.

if the frame is okay, I'd start a list of parts needed to fix it, and go from there.

The frame horns are most likely bent, those can be cut off and replaced. The bumper if its not tweaked can be reused.

Whoa. Glad your ok. You can fix that. Probably save a lot if you could do it yourself. Did your airbags deploy with that bumper?

I fell asleep at the wheel once, fortunately I had a passenger who snapped me out of it, you never forget that feeling; and it's not as anyone expects it to be, one minute you're there concentrating feeling a little fatigued but fine the next you're just not there at all.

Know the signs and pull over, there's been half a dozen times or so I have been less than 15 minutes from my destination and pulled over for a 20 minute nap, sometimes multiple times I've had to pull over and nap for safety, I've never regretted it though I have been rudely woken up by dickish cops.

Thank god you're okay and hit an engineered deceleration guard rail and not a solid oak.

Your insurance will no doubt total it given age and milage but if you were able to drive it home like that it may be worth buying back and rebuilding.

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
I have also learned the lesson Naps are always a good idea. I have gone to bed a hour from home a few times.

The fact you did not take out the radiator.

How bad did the left front tire get chewed up from being out of alignment.

That does not look bad at all from the picture though that never compares to up close and in person.

A new /used front clip should get most of the body parts left front suspension pretty much the rest.

That would be doing the work your self.

Thankfully you’re alright, damn that suck man, sorry to see that.

That looks like it’s into the inner fender and radiator core support. You could get creative pulling stuff straight, just chain off to a tree and start pulling SLOWLY and bash stuff straight

Damage isolated to the driver side so you could use the passenger side as a gauge

If the driver side impact pushed the frame back on the left side a good frame shop should be able to tweak it back close

Bought my truck with a rebuilt title many years ago and got to the point I didn’t care how beat up it got, that’d be the advantage of keeping it.
