Listing it here really means that way down deep, down in the core of your testes, you don't really want to let it go.

If you were really serious, it'd be up on cars & bids with no reserve.

Why no reserve? Put it up with a reserve of the lowest number you want for it. If it doesn’t sell, oh well.

below are some pictures of the frame as I was asked about rust. the truck has never been to the east coast so the rust is only mild surface rust and a bit dirty.

The interior is straightforward with no backseat. Seats have no rips, tears or stains. Does have a satellite radio and CB.

Truck currently doesn't have the tailgate on it. Working to track down the hardware for that. I do have the tailgate though. The AC is also not functioning at this time. Compressor comes on still but no cold air.

 

It certainly has been modded well.

If you are going to set a reserve, just make that your firm asking price and post it for sale sans auction.

 

You might have a buyer in Sacramento but without looking into it I don’t know if it would pass emissions here without removing the 7th injector and possibly more..?

I can't tell you if it will or won't. It still has both cats under it and I believe the supercharger itself was carb legal. The 7th may pass, but that would probably be down to how eagle eyed your inspector is. It's always passed emission testing here in Ada county.

Shouldn’t really be dependent on the inspector in CA. They plug in a machine, press some buttons, sometimes pop the hood and take a look. Theoretically any mod can make it fail in CA, they love failing people for anything.

I've had the URD 7th installed in CA for the last almost 6 years and have passed smog 3 times with it on. I just wrapped the shiny metal fuel line in electrical tape so it resembles any of the other vacuum lines, that's really the only thing that stands out. Should be fine.

 

Thanks for the info! Hopefully someone will come across this soon otherwise I think I may start to pull parts off it. This thing as-is can tackle a lot of what trails are out there and never once has it left me stranded or stuck. I think some 5.29 gears and a skid plate and you have a turn key Rubicon truck. The tire gate and the bed rack are included in the sale if the buyer wants them. The tent is sold.

 

Anything shiny will make the smog tech take a second look. Plus, the 7th injector will only function under pressure and in CA 00+ are idling when they check. No more dyno run unless it's 99 and under. If the tech don't care much, they will let a lot of stuff slide because the vehicle have all green/ready monitors status.

But starting next year (2023) CARB/BAR will require every smog shop to install Webcam so they can remotely access and record every smog. Talk about POWER & CONTROL!

 

Another reason I should move to North Dakota already. CA sickens me with their overreach. We can’t even get our cops to force bums off the sidewalks that have had their tents setup there for months - living squarely in the middle of a busy sidewalk. Only the law abiding citizens get harassed here. Be a bum or a criminal and you’re golden. I’m done.
