    Hi all!
My 3.4 cranks and no start. There is no power going to the pump. Fuses are good. I’ve pulled down the open circuit relay. Left it plugged into the harness. I pulled the cover off the relay and watched it engage while I turn it over. Can the relay still be bad even though it is engaging? Is there something else I am missing downstream of the relay?
    Thank for any help.

Spray some starting fluid into the throttle body. Also, I'd seen plenty of 3.4 with broken timing belt and owner didn't know.

Had that happen on a mitsubishi, belt snapped on the highway and my dad just cruised to a stop. He thought for sure it was the fuel pump. Thankfully it was a SOHC. threw a new belt and off it went :)

Op mentioned no power to the fuel pump, so he likely needs a wiring diagram for that circuit.

Thanks. Yea my timing belt is fine.
Yea like BRETTS said. I have no power coming out of the pigtail to the fuel pump. But my fuel gauge works
And like I said I am watching the contact in the open circuit relay function. I’m wondering even though it’s actuating it’s not transferring the power.

Reason why I said to check the timing belt is because on the 5vz, during crank, sends a ground signal to the COR to provide power to the pump. For the 5vz, there is no constant power at the pump pigtail like other cars. If the timing belt snapped, the COR can't get a ground signal to send power to the pump.

Have you check for constant power at the COR? You should have 12v at pin 1 and 5.

What about spraying starting fluid into the throttle body to see if the truck will run temporarily?

I don't want to question your knowledge but the timing belt is not the 3 v-belt you see operating the AC, PS, and Alternator. Reason why I said this is because a lot of folks *think* those are the timing belt.
