SS3 sport ditch light backlit to oem button

2019 tacoma trd offroad 4x4

I have diode dynamic ss3 backlit ditch lights for my taco. The switch cable has yellow, blue, red wires.

I have cali raised oem button which has black, red, red, and green wires.

I connected green with yellow, both reds with the red. The button does not light up this way but turns on the ditch light. When I add black to blue the button always stays lit. Is it possible to have it only lit when the button is on?

the wiring color on the ss3 are different from the other tutorials I have seen.
