this was my thought too, usually people bail for a couple months because it just gets to be too damn much and they are over it.

lol. Id take it. Solo works mostly but when things like the bed have to go on and off it’s just not happening.

I honestly didn’t think it was gonna take so long. Money cost me at least a month or so. I also shoulda had the axles 100% before even starting. I just did my u joints today and I don’t have time for shit like that this late.

You're at the "POINT OF NO RETURN"

I stepped away for 3 months with every excuse I can come up with.... it's too hot or just too cold. I'll work on it tomorrow or maybe this weekend. I'm too tired, i don't feel like touching it to I rather do something else. Lol

it's definitely a balance. You could do stuff perfectly and hit the trail to find out you want to redo it in a different way anyways.

You've been going hard so burning out a bit makes sense. It's easy to look at build threads and forget that some of these trucks sit for years during the build process. I definitely do that lol

Yeah, no breaks at this point. Plus I would forget where all the shit I have off the truck goes!!

True! I already have a lot I want to change. I have my questionable fabricated things too. I prob could put the top 5 things in order that will fail first.

You're practically a CNC machine! A lot of those brackets, parts, etc turned out real nice throughout your build.

Idk. My panhard frame mount is ehh. The upper link axle mount needed cross support prob but I was worried about water/rust collection. Gotta see if the heims bolt helps. I was worried about the hoops but not with the tower brace now and the big ticket item is the high steer. I had a crack in one of the cast welds and have no clue when it happened. Ground and rewelded it. I see it breaking if im in like a 40mph or so slide/drift before a wash out or something rough. Just gonna bring a stick welder in step bros truck while testing shit.

Get her done and then drive nice and easy to a spot to test it out. You don't have to romp stomp on the way there. Then go incrementally more batshit until you're done for the day or something breaks. :)

It's actually not bad tbh. I've been in other tacoma with 3 link front with rear leaf and this thing drives way better. Smooth and straight. Hit a bump at 50mph and still track straight with no wobble. I'm actually surprised. I need to add Currie antisway tho because the body roll when turning, which is expected with all around link. One thing I do hate is no more u turn. My turn radius s#ck with 40s.

Compared this to my other DC I had with all around leaf, this one is the winner.

Nice. That's awesome! That thing coulda drove like a death trap with all that coil. Antirocks are nice. I want to get if I have any issues in rear. I heard they are great on rocks to keep you level. I don't want to hear it. Im gonna need a parking lot to turn around based on how they look turned.

1t have better turning radius. I'm waiting for a sale for the anti-sway. For the meantime, meth injection and other things are getting reinstalled.

Learned a lot about welding today. 6 hrs and I didn’t even touch the truck again. Still have to clear them.

Polishing worth it? I think so.
