What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

On my way to work today my Parking Brake light came on a couple times after coming to a stop then as I pulled into work the traction light came on. I turned off the truck and turned it back on and nothing. I did change my drums the other week and the parking brake wasn't holding to well but now it is holding a lot better but I don't know why the lights would have come on. Anyone got a suggestion? I would guess wheel speed sensor but I wasn't close to it and I don't know why the parking brake light would come on.

Honestly it was just Plug and play from my kenwood reciever but used a rydeen camera but should be in the directions your camera came sorry not answer you where looking for

might have to space down your bumps a good bit unless your going to cut alot into your wheel well.

 

The TC kit came with 1 inch spacers for bump stops. But they do say this kit is for a 33. These 35x11.5 are barely 34s so it should buff out

 

I was thinking about this part too. I went ahead and picked up some ¼" spacers just in case. If goes past that I agree it'll buff out.

 

The 5 lug housing is different than the 6 lug, the leaf spring perches are different, not sure if it’s the same width, the 3rd member should bolt in though

 

i had to space mine down 2 inches until i want to spend time cutting and welding. That being said still about 11 inches of travel with no wheel well cutting outside of fender trimming and pinch well cmc etc.

 

How much more axle droop did you have before you had to strap it for the uni-ball?

 

@MSgt O in a smallish city in the Deep South - definitely better labor prices compared to NY etc.

I'll be doing that with Kevin soon HOPEFULLY. I did get the SPC removal tool that might make cutting unnecessary though

 

Check your brake fluid level

 

strapped it 5/16 of an inch from shock bottoming out. CV will also come to play. check your clearances there as well. Strap will stretch about 1/4 inch.
