Will the truck/speed sensors notice if a truck has two 285/70/17 and two 33x12.5x17 tires?

Your center driveline will sure as hell notice.

Never run different sized tires on 4WD/AWD vehicles.

Seems pretty unnecessary. If it was my only way to get home, I'd send it. If it's to daily drive, big negative.

Although the overall difference between these 2 tires is not a lot, we never recommend intentionally mixing tires sizes. As the other members noted the biggest concern would be if you were to engage 4wd.

We would consider trying to find a matching pair of either the 33 or the 285 as the potential drivetrain damage is going to exceed the cost of 2 tires.

Having run mismatched 265/70-16 and 265/75-16 tires for over 1100 miles on and off-road, no the truck won't notice.

It is not advisable to engage 4WD on pavement with this setup, unless you also play with tire pressures so the front- and rear hub heights are the same. Put the slightly larger tire over the front axle if you plan to drive with an empty bed.
