Whenever I see a Tacoma like my own, I have to take pictures; I saw this 2006 RC 5-lug parked in the touristy part of Rockport and got the chance to chat with the owner and his wife. The owner's late brother bought the truck new and he inherited on his passing. The truck has a fairly low 106K miles, had the frame replaced under recall a few years ago, and is totally stock; I see a blank canvas! This truck is literally the same as mine right down to having a 4-speed slushbox, though it lacks certain features that mine has like the side airbags, traction control, and auxiliary input (my AUX input has not been operational in nearly a decade, because I bypassed it to install the aftermarket stereo)...

Interesting, right rear rim is different (perhaps the spare).//

 

My truck has that same wheel as the spare, but it's painted black, and I replaced the factory Dunlop with a Cooper Discoverer AT/3...

 

Still have the factory Dunlop I think on mine. I went with the Yokohamas in Oct 2019 on mine because doing about 15K a year it made sense to get a 75-80K tire and the local Toyota dealer had the best deal on them and alignment combo

Those are hard to find down here.
I know where 1 is, but the lady won’t sell it.
I bet she’s in here 80’s and she still gets out hauls fire wood in the house.
She doesn’t cut it, but she stacks it on the back corner of here lot.
She uses the “Lil Coma” to haul it across her “yard”.

And don’t dare ask why she doesn’t stack it by the house.
“Because she don’t want no critters and termites nestin’ in her house.”

 

Last part is probably wise. My parents' house had termites around 10 years of age and they had mulch right up against the foundation. One reason I won't put the shit near my house

 

I think our house in Northern Virginia might have had termites at one point, but it didn't require major repairs. It was treated for termites in like 2002-2003 and was fine; I actually found the termites if I remember correctly!
