Hello all! I'm about to put new bumpers and a lift kit in my 2011 Taco sport.
I also posted another thread about my truck not engaging into 4x4.

Are you doing the work yourself? Just curious, it took me and a friend about 10-12 hours. Just the lift.

I've never worked on suspension and found a place locally called Ultimate Truck that will be doing the lift. I purchased new bumpers from them also. I'm just waiting for them to be delivered and then covered in Rhino coating.
Tired of people breaking my plastic bumper up front....

They've been in business a long time, so I would imagine they do good work.
Welcome to TW. Did you get 4x4 figured out? Regarding other post.

If you haven't committed to the lift yet, I'd be more than happy to help. Wouldn't be able until mid May though.

I bought Steelcraft bumpers. Anxious to see how they look on my Barcelona red truck!

This makes the front end sag.
    Time for a lift kit!

Hi Kenny, I've wondered how you been doing and how the modifications were coming along.
That bumper is like Code Sever style!
Or was is Cole, Fall Guy!
I'm sure that place could hook you up with a lift kit too. I went with a lift made by Old Man Emu or OME, and purchased it from a place that assembled the fronts for me so it was a bolt on affair. Took it to alignment shop right after putting it on.

    I don't hate the place I got my bumpers from. I don't.

However, I put down a huge deposit on January 16. $3,000 to be exact.
On my birthday. Bumpers, LED lights, bull bar.

On February 2nd, they called me and said "bumpers are here, please schedule a time to install them".
The bumpers needed to be coated with bedliner material, per my request.
It is an option they offer, and I wanted it.
They couldn't get me in until February 17.
I dropped my truck off the night before on the 6th.
I gave them my work phone number, for a "just in case scenario."
They called me the day of the install.
"We don't have all the stuff for your front bumpers".
Someone failed to inspect their incoming inventory. And as a customer, this is not my problem.
I was also told this over the phone from the place I laid down a huge deposit!!!
He actually said, "not my problem."
Coming from one of the owners of this company, this did not sit well with me. Not one bit.
The rear bumper and factory tow hitch had a conflict as well, so they removed said hitch, and didn't tell me.
Also, the plug and play wire loom for the trailer laid in my passenger floor board.
And I picked up my truck and left, after the rear bumper had been installed.
I was told they would contact the vendor and find out where the rest of my parts were.
And soon after this, Texas was slammed with a winter storm most of us Nebraskans think of as "normal."
So, they and I wait for Texas to reopen.
I care more about people than I do a couple of pieces of steel.
But when you drop that kind of money for something......
Its not like I got the wrong order at a drive thru fast food joint.
I was looking forward to this place taking my Tacoma to the next level.
With me dropping a lot of money.

So, finally today, my new front bumper, 20 inch LED light bar was installed.
In writing, I have a new rear hitch due me.
They also took off a percentage of my entire bill.

It wasmy first time with them. Should I decide to go back, I'll make sure I get better results in writing, before I walk out.

Always a work in progress. Tomorrow, all new brakes and hardware going on from PowerBrakes. I wish now I had bought new bearings for the front. I'll get there.
I also need to know what specific fluids for the front and rear axles to buy.
And the transfer case as well.
The internet has confusing info or my 2011 base model.
