I run them on our 4runner for what you’re describing and love them.

I have the Falken Wildpeak AT3 in 285/70/17. I really enjoyed them, they are about 4 years old and starting to dry rot but I live in Florida so that's probably expected. I have about 50k on them and they still have some life left they are a great tire. This is my daily so the Falkens have seen 98% highway, 2% off-road and they do great on both. I think I might try out some Terra Grapplers next.

We can throw our vote in for the Falken's as well, they are a solid product and tend to work well for many people. If you'd like some options there are a few other similar tires that tend to do well also.

Goodyear Ultra terrain and Toyo AT3 to name the others that tend to be popular and work well.

We would also love to earn your business if you are open to retailer options. PM on the way

I’ve been running Nitto G2s for years and have had great results with them. Smooth on the highway just enough bite for the trails to hiking spots. They’re rated at 55k miles and with rotating them every 5k I’ve gotten as much as 70k out of a set with still at least 30% tread life left. I drive 90% hwy.
