    Headers with full borla system.
    Those will all be going with the complete seats when the time comes. I’m not gonna take a few small things off and the be stuck with partial seat assembly.

    Autozone sells a reman 3.4 that comes out to $4k with a refundable $400 core charge and a 4 year warranty.

    I'm going for the jdm route since i don't intend to keep my truck forever and there are several near me i can go inspect the motor personally before buying.

    Thanks for the replies, everyone. It turned out that there was a bit of a miscommunication on the problem. There wasn't a crack, it was more that where the oil pressure regulator threaded on, there was some rot in there that was preventing a tight seal. He tried some solutions with different sized gaskets, and we found a winner. It hasn't leaked a drop in a week, so I think I'm good for another 250K miles. No engine swap plans for now.
