Looking to transport a dual sport motorcycle on my Tacoma and need to install a winch for easy loading / unloading up and down a ramp. Anybody have experience mounting a which on the bed of the truck?

None at all, but I would put big ass washers or better yet flat bar stock behind wherever you drill and bolt through the composite bed. Watch out for the ribs under or in the front wall as well.

Your bed is plastic. I would not mount a which in the bed. My opinion.

    Try this instead?

Oh well, there was supposed to be a video showing a winch on a bike.

I have a winch at the front of my bed, and this is exactly what I’ve done. I have a very large metal plate at the bottom side of the bed that secures the winch. I use the winch to pull big game into the bed of my truck. Bears, deer, whatever. I attach the winch cable to a removable plywood floor, which I manually remove and rest on the tailgate when I need to pull something into the bed. The winch works beautifully, and my back is saved every time. I wouldn’t pull much more than a few hundred pounds, though.

How 'bout a pic, including some game being hauled up. Glad you found a solution to keep you out there hunting.

Haha. Yep, I was out all day yesterday; took a break this morning to get some sleep and livestream church service. I’ll be out again tonight.
I could have harvested a bear yesterday evening, but I had already filled my tag during archery season. Here’s a couple pics. The trail camera caught the bear seconds before I shot.
