All Pro Expedition Leaf Springs - Restoration

Just picked up some used allpro expedition leaf springs for my second gen.
They're a little rougher than I would like, and was wondering if anyone has advice on how I can clean them up without fully taking them apart.
The bolts in the middle look pretty tough to remove, and I don't want to bend off the brackets either.

I think I would just spray the hell out of them with Krown rust prevention. I use that stuff on everything under my truck . Krown.com

 

Yah that's what I was thinking too. It's just that there's some rocks and debris in between the leaf's, so I'm wondering how to get that out so there's no noise when I install them.

 

Hmm , I don’t know .Maybe pressure wash real good then spray the Krown after they are dry . I also use a needle attachment on my grease gun to get between the leaf’s to deal with any squeaks .
