Hey, so I just ditched the 245’s and went straight to 285/75/r16’s wildpeaks and I’m not really into the power loss and loss of MPG’s so I’m not sure is 265’s would be sufficient or 255’s. I’ve realized I don’t off-road enough to justify the 285’s. So any inputs would be appreciated! 02111AF7-4443-4E14-9A34-2285C9346ADD.jpg99957C31-5402-4C4D-BD02-C92C122264C4.jpg

What load range did you go with? I like the 285s but I try to stick with a C load around 51 lbs.

Yeah they will be heavy! Great if you are offroading lots, not so great for daily driving
Don’t let the narrow size of the 255 trick you into thinking they are light, lots of 255s are around 58 lbs.

The 265/75R16's are a very popular size option for the Tacoma's, many light SL rated options available. To give you a visual of the difference

Tire 1 is the current 285's you have, tire 2 would be the 265/75R16's. At just over an inch shorter in overall rolling diameter they still fill the wheel well decently.
