Waking up at Bagley Rapids campground. Realized I forgot to permethrin treat my clothes so doing a slight bit of laundry and looking like camp got invaded by Jed Clampett. Breakfast of champions to follow. Windy out here today putting a damper on my drone flight plans but I’ll have more fun photos to share soon.

    Looks great man, enjoy.

Let us know how you like the sites - could be a viable alternative to nearby Bear Paw Lake.

Sites are pretty decent and location by the rapids is pretty nice. Definitely could use as an alternate spot. From what I recall they get busy in the warmer months but there is a sign/letter posted saying they may consider online reservations next year.

Bagley Rapids Lower Falls. Way tougher than I expected, only viewable by drone. Aside from the 2-3 private residences bordering the feature I doubt anyone else has ever viewed this one from the air.

Nice! Looks like you're making the best of it!

I stayed there for a night or 2 in 2019. It was busy, but there was still room. Nice spot!

There is another Bearpaw, also. Were you at the scout camp?

I see someone did a bunch of cooking!
I think I lost my title!

Looked like you guys had a blast again.

I wanted to make the Bayfield run in October but I have a ton of commitments. I can’t wait till my Vegas trip with some friends and spend the kids college/2026 New Tacoma fund. It looks like spring 2023 will be the next trip for me.

Nothing wrong with being a boy scout. I was just curious. We camp on the opposite side of the lake, but it's a small lake. There are scout camps on a few lakes I've camped on.

Damn, that sucks! We'll have to do a Biergarten meet, or something soon! You'd have been proud of my bartending! :D

Marinette County campgrounds are apparently closed? Weird seems early. Meh, going to Gov Thompson for the night. Dinner & drinks first at Twin Bridge since I’m passing by (review: sad Old Fashioned, mediocre food, pass it by).

I mentioned to a few people at the Tigerton event that I'd be happy to put together a Biergarten gathering shortly after the Bayfield outing at the Estabrook Beer Garden for those interested. Is there a particular day of the week that works best for the majority of people?

Thought I'd pull this into the general thread.

The electric blanket isn't a bad idea. Forgot that's what you had. Only thing attractive with the diesel heater is it will help with condensation build up inside the tent. It's not bad with just me but 2 people and it can get pretty damp inside.

I'm pretty open as long as it isn't during the week after the Bayfield trip.
