Morning all:

Looking at a bunch of stocks that are near their 52 week lows, but wondering where this market is going, it could go a whole lot lower which I'm guessing is a very good possibility.

 

Don't mention flu or C.. booster shots!! Other stuff is done..... have fun with the gravel. ER follow up Dr app this afternoon, then need to trim back some bushes and clean up the leaves that already fell.

Good luck for the parts to go back with no issues.

Hope you don't have issues getting the pump out Kurt. Did you spray the bolts down with blaster to let them soak it in? Take care and smooth pump replacement

 

So aggravated… went off my statins 3 months ago which were working great. Became allergic ,muscle and joint pain . Total cholesterol while on meds was 167 no meds now up to 282 . Bad LDL is 211 should be under 100 . Waiting to hear back from cardiologist see what she wants to do

 

Start eating a few almonds every day...

I do eat almonds . I take CoQ10, garlic ,fish oil ,citrus bergamot. All good stuff for the heart . There is a new injection monthly for people that can not tolerate statins that have high LDL (bad) cholesterol. Waiting to hear from the doctor . Then see if insurance covers it

I agree. I've often wondered if cholesterol issues are legitimate. After all... the body makes it. We used to think high cholesterol eggs, etc., were raising cholesterol and now we know better... but the meds are still the same and we can eat eggs. Personally I think we ought to be looking at sugar. That seems to get a big pass in any kind of medical advice.

 

Generally speaking... I like a variety of music. But that's one of my favorite lines from a song.

Yup ,sugar is the culprit . In my case it’s a hereditary thing . My body just makes too much bad cholesterol.

 

Very cool. I have a license plate, OZONE, that I put on vehicles at car shows and off-roading. It seems appropriate. Most people don't get it.

 

And my VA Drs are keeping this old body alive beyond all odds with a handfull of pills every day, hypodermic shots every month, and medical hardware all over the house ...But damn it all, I still have to lay out cold cash for my Mary Jane meds.

I remember that Ken, I think I came on not long after that.

There is a book, "sugar blues", that pretty well explains how bad sugar is. I never read it, but a GF did, and I think that I remember her mentioning that it was that bad that the FDA would ban it if it was a newly developed sweetener.
