    Take a micrometer to the rotors...not with a tape measurer.

    Pads and rotors look good, send it. FYI the slot in the pad material is like wear bars on a tire, when its level with the rest of the pad material its time for new pads.

    Is slight brake drag on the rotors when spinning the wheel by hand normal? I definitely feel a difference with and without the calipers on. I also hear very slight grinding.

    Yes, pads drag ever so slightly. That's normal....as is your crooked ball joint.

    There's plenty of horror stories here about people almost flipping their truck bc the lower ball joint failed - just replace it if you don't have a receipt.

    I'm kinda hooked on the napa premium for front brake and suspension....
    all the boots are synthetic and usually always have a zert.....

    Akebono pads.....oem shoes......
