yes tried searching but couldn't find anything. Could be due to the fact that I cant figure out what key words to use..

Truck runs fine no noise while driving around town and on highways. While on trails wheeling through the offshoots no sound no problem either. The sound is sort of like metal on metal, or like the sound of tires bottoming out and rubbing wheel well... its not that though i checked . Sound happens when I'm on the gas going about 20 to 30mph while on the down movement after I'm over a lump/hill/whoop.
my guess now is maybe it is coming from the drive shaft/diff/transfer case area? I do not have a diff drop kit installed.

I do have access to a lift and is mechanically inclined. Just wondering what you guess opinion are or if anyone has experience this before. I have a friend say that "I'm not suppose to be on the gas while going fast over a hill, it grinds the diff gears "

    thanks !

fronts has same fox shocks that come with the truck. swapped out for the stiffer eibach springs and half inch spacer lift.
rear has stock springs with a aal and one inch block, same fox shocks that came with the truck .

The pro stupid skid plates are known to make weird noises, I've had to remove them, grease contact points then reinstall very tight to get noises to stop. (if youre still using it)

Next check the front body mounts, back the nuts off, re-seat the rubbers, spray some synthetic spray or silcone spray. They can come loose and cause odd noises.

    Just some ideas.

    Thanks for the input!

I am still in fact using the trd skids still, thanks for ideas ill do what you mentioned next time I put her on the lift. But I still dont think that may be the cause of the grinding crunching noise. but who knows ...its only when I'm on the gas going over a hill, on the the incline nothing no sound on the swift decline while still on the gas right at the point where the suspension bottoms it'll grind ... it really sounds like wheels rubbing fender liner mixed with cab mount (did a bmc already ) first time I heard it.
