Are any of them stainless? I appreciate you checking

 

The guy who wanted it and paid for it is like an independent contractor, he works for himself. I've only met him once, that was when he came and wrote the check.

All 4 are stainless. I imagine the difference is in OD and OAL, but I want to be sure before I show you what's available.

 

This arbor press belongs to my dad, he let us use it 12 years ago and we’ve had it ever since. I just saw this brass tag and scraped the paint off. He bought it at an auction for $90 twenty years ago.

 

Have you considered googling his name.

It's pretty hard to stay hidden these days.

You will be amazed at the info google will caught up with just a name and area he lives.

 

An M6 will def thread convincingly well into a 1/4x28 speaking from unfortunate experience. Not saying anyone did anything in this case, but its an easy goof to make.

M6-1.0 thread. I just dealt with a customer that swore on a stack of Bibles that his push to connect fitting was M6-1.0, but is actually 1/4"-28.

 

@six5crèéd here are the 2D prints for the 4 taper lock bushings. Once you figure out which one you need, I can give you a Fastenal part number for you to give to the Fastenal there in town.

At least they paid up front.... Send them a letter, saying if it's not claimed with X days it'll be sent to scrap.

What color will contrast nicely with the chrome tread plate?

Is that close to Kubota orange or Simplicity orange? Those are the only orange I have.

 

I was out this morning making sure everything was still dialed in. I use the shop balcony as my tree stand for target practice, lol.


Here's another pic from there. That berm in the background is the backstop for my rifle range. It's dead on 250 yds from the balcony, but I hardly ever shoot from there. I have every 50 yds marked off to 200 and a 300 yard spot.
