Some dealers will tell you they don't have any available. Others will tell you that they arent required to. Both bullshit. It's part of Toyota's warranty for the inconvenience. They could also have you rent a car and have toyota pay for it if they are actually out of loaners

Welp, dealer said this is completely normal and nothing can ever be done about it. That was the exact words from the guy. He also said they would never fix something like that. I asked what the giant recall was all about then. He said "I dont know". I am done with this dealer.

the dealer service center I used when getting my 15k service spotted mine. They can be a pain but this issue they found on their own. I suggest you be persistent sometimes it’s needed. In my truck’s case the gasket was replaced, the invoice says “gasket failure/porous gasket”

I made a post about mine and my experience taking it in to the dealer for the 3rd brake light recall as well as bringing the rear diff leak to their attention. They told me it wasn't leaking and that it was merely water and dirt staining my rear diff.

This is a 2017 with around 38k miles at the time of the pictures being taken

Funny you should mention that, I've "heard" (idk if this is true) that AmsOil has an additive in their diff oils that make seals swell slightly which...supposedly helps with leaks.
I currently have the leak myself so will have to take the truck in at some point here soon.
