What have you guys done about rattling windows when lowered partly?

title^, i've tried folded bits of thick double sided tape that seems to do the jobs, but eventually the rattle comes back and i'm afraid the seal is just deforming in the front(the sail looking bit). So what have you guys tried? Some time of shim that would fit just right?

 

I also have a 2012 and have not had this issue....

 

Yeah I'm thinking that my poor Tacoma was just stored outdoors being eaten alive by the socal sun. Seals look a bit sundried, but paint looks fine luckily. Well, besides the rocks that keep getting kicked into the rear window frame, slowly wrecking the paint

 

roll them down past where you want, then roll them back up.

 

My 2006 had this issue. I took the door panels off and tightened the 10mm bolts holding the track.

 

Tighten the hardware on the track.

 

They messed up when they went with the smooth rubber tracks on these trucks. Even when everything is new tight, the glass still rattles in the track and it creates a maddening vibration sound while driving. The old school fuzzy/velvet style contained noise a lot better.

 

Same here...quick fix!

 

I'll give it a try, fingers crossed! I'm assuming my door speakers rattled out some clips and bolts
