Hey Guys. Last weekend I attended a local car show in Bella Vista, AR called “Bella Vista Band Annual Car & Community Show”.
I wish I could have met the owner of this beautiful Toyota SR5. I’m hoping maybe s/he is a member here. Not sure if it’s a 80’s or early 90’s model. I had a 20R (carburetor)in my 1980 Celica but this SR5 has the 22R-E (Fuel Injection).
Thought you all may enjoy this.

This is not an SR5 :notsure:
I thought SR5 from those old days had that infamous 3.0 engine and were extended Xtra cabs?
That truck is a regular cab!

I like Blue but that to me makes it look strange.

I have several of the 86 and up 4x4`s that I planned to restore till I got hurt.

With 2 of them being the 5 speed turbo version.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
I owned the exact same truck. It was indestructible. It eventually ended up as my primary wheeler. Later was traded for a zero turn to start my landscape company. Years later we are the 2nd top rated company in metro atlanta.
To say that little truck helped me get where I needed, play when I wanted and then help me begin a new part of my life is an understatement.

This model and the 80 series Land Cruiser were the best yotas ever built IMO.

I loved those 22re engines till a friend let me drive a 3.4 I was finished.

I have a 3.4 on the stand that was going to be swapped into a 86 4x4.

to be honest not likely .

At this point walking is a major adventure .

i can still get things done but a easy job like changing oil can easy turn into a 4 hour job.

I can relate to this 100%. Doing anything is really stressful on my beat up body. If you're having back issues, take care of yourself.

I miss my ‘86 4x4. Loved that truck and we took that thing everywhere. Sold it in ‘91 when we moved to FL. I could see it was starting to rust along the wheel wells and seams in the bed. Makes me really appreciate restorations of older Toyotas.

No major back problems just my hips and knees are shot.

The knees could be fixed the hips not so much .
