I was being facetious. Magnuson is not going to pay for it. They have a 3 year warranty on the supercharger itself, with many caveats, and specifically say that they don't warranty anything to which it's attached.

Ah sarcasm strikes again. Yes I did read they only cover certain things. Which makes you wonder they only cover things that it can directly effect?

The dealer can deny warranty for anything. It is then up to the consumer to prove the issue did not. The link above will tell you the cost and time involved to prove it. Good luck.

The only way I can think of to get around the super charger being blamed is to ask if the super charger puts more than 6000lb of strain on the transmission. Because that is what the trucks transmission is designed to be able to pull.

It would be a long shot and hard to compare, but its a straw to grasp at.

Yep, this! Dealer does not have to prove Jack shit! They approve or deny warranty claims, that's it! They will certainly tell you why they are denying your warranty claim, but they don't have to prove anything. It you choose to fight it, you then have the burden to prove that your aftermarket supercharger was not the cause.

Best of luck and carry on!

Also I just want to note, I had a leak in the drivers side floor pan. Toyota blamed the power wire for my amp that went through the passenger side firewall. Somehow they determined that water was traveling along the wire, through the sealed hole, up over the transmission tunnel and then pooling on the driverside... all while not leaving a drop on the passenger side where the wire comes into the truck.

So your assertation is that even though you cranked up the HP and torque, that has nothing to do with your trans failure?:facepalm::facepalm:

Never had my truck hitting 6K rpms
even when it started to slip I would let off the pedal if it got to 4500 rpms

Haaaa, you are hilarious. You really think you can crank up 32% more power and not have an issue? Seriously? You have to be joking. Your warranty is to cover defects, not modification failures. Adding that much more power and having a problem is by no means a defect. You have to be a man about this and accept responsibility for your actions. I know it is hard to accept, but that is the reality. Do the right thing and go out and find a transmission that can handle the extra power. That is the price you pay for modifications. The more you spend, the more you break.
