Sticking gas pedal

When I stop at a red light or anytime I not on the gas for a period of time like 20 seconds or so the pedal sticks. It then breaks free and is fine when driving. Any ideas ? Thanks in advance

 

Have you ever greased your Throttle Cable?

 

if it needed greased, wouldnt it stick all the time ? was thinking it was some kind of vaccum issue. anyone else?

 

Take your intake hose off, get some carb clean and a old tooth brush and clean out your throttle body. When I clean mine out I usually use maybe a third of the can.

Your truck will start hard the first time and will probably need to play with the throttle a little to get it started. There will also be smoke out of your exhaust in the beginning but thats just from the carb clean burning off
