    Getting ready to take delivery of my Tacoma in a few weeks, and I saw my dashcam has a parking mode adapter available. What would be the best points to connect the battery and accessory wires here?

    Bump, the dealer has my truck getting prepped for pickup, still hoping to figure out the best way to wire up this dashcam power supply.

    Get an auto test light and find the appropriate fuses, it's a quick install. Lots of videos out there on the install: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R1vcwOxHC7I

    I use the empty spot on the fuse panel for the always on and tapped the wipers for the ACC, I think.

    The install of the camera itself and running the wire is NBD, it's just getting that hardwire kit properly connected I'm still working on. What style fuse tap does the current Tacoma need? I won't be picking it up for about another week but I want to have everything on hand and ready to go when I get it.

    It's in the video but the driver side fuse box just uses standard automotive minifuses. I used
    $8 Nilight - 50038R 10 Pack 12V Car Add-a-circuit Fuse TAP Adapter with 5 Amp Low Profile Mini Blade Fuse Set for Cars Trucks Boats,Blue, Red, Black, Orange
    these from Amazon. But any add a fuse 12v minifuses will do the job.
