    Happened to me too!!! It stopped recording. Plug this number into your WhatsApp, or go to FitCamX for same number, and request the update files, with instructions to the latest version. +86 150 1476 7002 They worked with me very well to get this resolved. Your firmware version needs to be 202207, or greater. :)

    You will need a formatted MicroSD card to copy the files to, then you just stick it into your camera, then start the engine. After about 1 minute it is updated. I still have the files if anyone has any difficulty getting them from FitCamX, but like I said they are very prompt with their support.

    Checked mine today. Everything is working fine, no issues with deleting old videos and recording over with new camera footage

    Not the OP on that but from what I read he switched from another camera to the FitCam X so the “already hardwired” was something he added for the previous camera.

    The set up I am using only operates when the truck in RUNNING

    The manufacturer does offer a parking mode set up for this camera, but it requires you hard wire the dash camera into your fuse box. I didn't feel I needed a parking mode system for my truck, so the plug and play option I have work fits my needs

    I did this past weekend. Easy peasy. Took longer to unbox and walk into the garage than to install.

    My pleasure as I'm giving back to everyone who's helped me. Sorry, no rear camera just the front one. When you install the camera housing, it slides up the windshield rather than snaps in.

    i need to get the rear facing one. most of my issues with drivers around here are from people following way too closely. i'm talking 5 feet from your bumper, can't even see their headlights close. my last two collisions have been from people tailgating. totaled my last tacoma.
