This week I put in the Toyota OEM led headlights. I like the light spread better than the halogens. Next up is getting them aimed, i put them what i think is a bit low so I don't blind traffic until I have them setup correctly.

want to throw my 2c here..

Unless you really like the form factor of Blackvue products, buy something else. For that price point, you can buy a StreetGuardian or VIOFO brand for a 1/3 of the price with better quality video quality and support.

    Did a weight addition mod

The increase in weight is definitely worth it, in my opinion. The RigRunner I have in the back has a low-voltage cut-off (LVCO) of 11.5v and it no longer resets or alarms upon starting the truck. It's truly a wonderful thing when the radio or radar detector stays on when you start the truck from the accessory position.

For reasons as to why I chose this battery, see crashnburn80's thread here.

EDIT: For future reference, the J-bolt hold down torque spec is 48 in-lb (5.4 nm)

No problem. I have some other posts in this thread about the PITA it was and some recommendations for the install. You can also check my build thread linked in my signature below. If you have questions, just let me know.

Thanks to a deer I hit recently, the truck had to go into the shop. Part of the replacement list was headlights, grille, and fogs - so I did what any good 3rd Gen owner would do and asked to upgrade the parts while they were at it.

‘22 LED headlights (plus the @daveeasa FBC headlight conversion harness)
    TRD Pro grille
TRD Pro Rigid Industries LED fog lights

Kicker’s make a noticeable difference, especially the tweeters. Did the same, just trying to decide on an amp now so that they can show their full potential/output.

Did my pre-winter underbody inspection and have all scratches fixed on protective coating (no bad surprises, just routine scratches)
and body detailing- cleaning, wax, ceramic spray. Even tire dressing (doing that very rareIMG_20220930_145650.jpg ly).IMG_20220930_145713.jpg IMG_20220930_145728.jpg Love the result!
