Hi all, part of our team is located in Central Florida and we’re enough inland to avoid most of the storm.

However, we’re wanting to provide assistance where possible in the Fort Myers area.

Any convoys heading down there or anyone in the area that can inform us of where we can be most help?

    Thanks!

Try googling convoy of hope, then contacting them to see if they could use the help.

Key areas are so devastated that it would be possible to overwhelm the area infrastructure wise so be prepared to be fully self sustaining.

I75 has a section closed S of Venice due to Myaka River flooding so keep an eye out.

Also, this is a case where help will be needed for months, not weeks, and volunteers tend to fade away. So you may find you could be more helpful in a few weeks?
