I'm looking to throw some new shoes on my 2019 sport. Looks like the previous owner wasn't aware you are supposed to rotate tires.
I want to add something with aggressive tread to give the truck a meaner look but I do most of my driving on the pavement, maybe 10% offroad at my hunting camp. (If you don't like that I don't care.) I'm not looking to lift it or get new wheels. IMO the stock sport wheels are super sharp and Tacos have great ground clearance off the assembly line. Currently, I've been looking at the Cooper discoverer At3 4s. The reviews are all great and it looks like a very solid all-terrain that performs very well on the pavement. However, I've seen pics of them on some Tacomas and they just don't seem to be as aggressive looking as I'd like. The others I've considered are the Falken Wilpeaks and BFG K02s. I like the look of both but I'm not so sure about the Falken brand. I'd prefer a time-tested brand like Cooper. I've read the K02s have questionable wet pavement performance. That's a dealbreaker for me. I'm not going to risk hydroplaning for tire looks.

Open to other tire suggestions. Basically, I'm looking for a great pavement performance tire that looks aggressive. (Again, if that's not enough offroading for you I don't care. Buy me some property to ride on.)Price isn't really a concern. I'm willing to spend whatever I have to to get the right tire. Anyone have any advice, thoughts, or suggestions?

Falken Wildpeak. I have just under 60k on these tires and still a little tread left before I install new Falken Wildpeak tires. Any atv tire will be a tradeoff between highway and off road. It's a balancing act. For me, Falkens do both off road and highway just fine.
Best of luck on your purchase.

Ive had K02s, Wildpeak, and the cooper at3 4s. As far as looks the KO2s we’re by far my favorite but the performance for me in the wet/snow was not what I was looking for and they were loud on the road. The At3 4s were my favorite as far as little to no road noise and did great in the snow. However they aren’t the lost aggressive as you stated. Wildpeaks for me were solid all around. Not the most aggressive but the sidewall has a cool look to them. If I were you I’d probably go wildpeak. People also really like the duratracs

I've been running Pirelli Sorpian AT Plus and they've been great. Quiet driving on road, great in wet and snow conditions, I do similar 10% off road and they have not let me down.

an option for 'best pavement performing at' tire is the yokohama at G015.

the general grabber apt and toyo at3 are two others to consider that would perform well on the pavement.

in my experience, the yokohama and toyo tires are the easiest to balance.

Just bought 265 70 17 Wildpeaks and I am happy with them BUT you will lose a few MPG city at least mine did -I have a MPG post just added. But the tires are quiet and handle well.

You have, more or less, asked about three different tires.
    1. Michelin Defender LTX M/S2 a lot of TW members have off-roaded these tires and love 'em.
    2. Toyo Open Country ATIII is my personal favorite for 3 out of 4 seasons of driving in the high elevations of the Colorado Rocky Mountains.

Cooper AT4 is probably going to be the best street performing tire, but it looks the least aggressive. KO2 is probably the worst street performing tire, but looks most aggressive. Wildpeak AT3 is going to be my recommendation for best all around. You really have 2 major factors you need to consider to give you that "best street" aspect - tire weight & tread pattern. A wildpeak AT3 in SL load is pretty happy medium when comparing those 3 tires; but just understand you WILL lose mpg, and you'll lose more and more the more aggressive/heavier you go.

If you want a quiet tire with aggresive sidewall and great on road manners go for the Cooper Discover ATP2 that are sold at Discount tire. Will perform similar to the Cooper AT3 4S but have more aggresive sidewalls.

Anyone who says anything other than the G015 for road and AT performance is wrong. :crapstorm:

The only reason they aren't more popular is because they don't quite look the part.

Yokohama GO15 is the answer to your question.

Excellent in snow, rain, rock, gravel, sand, wet grass, fuel economy, and lack of noise. Also a pretty damn tough tire in SL and LT.
    Good in mud (reasonable depths).
Poor in overall tire wear. You won't see 50,000 miles from these tires.

I've beat the hell out of mine on a '19 TRD OR and they have never failed me in any condition offroad and I have NEVER had a flat or gotten stuck. Came close to getting stuck once in some deeper slimy gooey mud but I slogged through it.

Another vote for the Wildpeaks. I had my first set in Florida and they handled monsoon rain with no issues. Second set has been thru Colorado winter and does great in the snow and ice.

Seconded. If I was in the market for A/Ts instead of daily driver tires, I would’ve gotten these without hesitation.
