1st gen ('00 SR5 access cab) owner here. I'm thinking about buying an '18 TRD Offroad MT "fully loaded" with 44k miles for $38k. Currently have it on a 24 hour test drive from Carmax. How have the 18's with a manual held up for those of you who have them? If you went from 1st to 3rd gen do you have any regrets?

My '00 has spent its life in the desert and has 217k miles. I can probably get another 100k out of it but am feeling like treating myself. So far I like the '18 a lot but I don't know if it's just from getting high on that "new" car smell. I searched high and low for a new truck with an MT (deal breaker) but have come up empty.

just order a brand new unit if you're planning to pay that much. Find a msrp dealer and leave a deposit for a MT.
