I live on a dirt road, clean has always been a tough one out here.

As far as sanitary -- I'm a guy, five second rule and all that...

 

Internet speed at home I hover around ~800. I pay for 1Gb. $120
Xfinity has a monopoly on fast internet in my area. The next competitor is AT&T at 30Mbps...

 

Exactly why I jumped to Midco's 80 Meg when they became available in my development. The ONLY other option was a 1.5 Meg.

That and they never came back to bury their line that ran all the way around my house so I cut it.

Speeds are variable- when I test, they’re on the high end of 10-150 mbps. The 10 is rare & sometimes the 150 is eclipsed by even crazier speeds.

Still pretty hot here this week. Looking forward to getting some cooler temps hopefully soon.

 

Yea not liking this cooler weather, that means I had to fire up this beast... (yes I know all the pipes looks like an old Window's screensaver....)



While it heats the house wonderfully, it's pretty darn expensive to run these days! Also the firebox liner is gonna need replaced next year. Wasn't expecting that expense, but I looked in the little view thing and it's starting to deteriorate. Lovely...

The thermostats are also getting replaced. The old round style just ain't cutting it. Got a digital one for each zone coming in a couple days.

That’s better than what Spectrum did for us. I said what about the grinding dust? He said it won’t matter. Also lost use of a stool
