Hot Wheels 65 Comet Gasser.
Curtis Turner 55-56 Ford stock car 1/24 scale.
Aqua and White 57 Ford Fairlane 500 AMT model kit. I dont think I could do anything wrong when I built this kit. Even the trim was applied with a brush. No bare metal foil. No hand shake that day. This rarely happens.

 

Here are a few from this weekend...nothing to fancy...mostly from Dollar General and one from Walmart.

 

Cool. I went to the Amazon website and punched in Toyota diecasts and got 7 pages of mostly diecast Toyotas including the blue Hot Wheels Car Culture 85 Tacoma that I have been looking for forever it seemed. I will have to get an order going this weekend.

Already had this one but bought a second only because it doesn’t come up for sale often. It came in the 40th anniversary collectors set. A set most people wouldn’t open up. I have the two older versions of this car that came out in 1988. Same color car, different color stripes.

 

I don’t know much about this one. Says 1988 on the bottom but the color is not listed in my book. They did make a yellow one part of the parking plates set but I don’t believe this is it. To evenly faded. The yellow parking plates one is on my list to get but doesn’t come up for sale at all. Big money when it does.

 

Came across this nice Just Trucks Tundra yesterday...hoping to find the retail priced white version one day.

68 Fairlane and 64 Galaxie stock cars. These were fun to build. No worries if you screwed up because you could work your mistakes into the wear and tear these cars took on the tracks. Wasn't the case here though. These kits are at least 20 years old. The 56 T Bird is actually a 1/24 version of my late uncles car. I built 2 of these at the same time with the second one going to him in 1990.
The 40 and 56 Ford pick ups are 1/64s. The 56 just had a wheel swap done and will be posted soon.

Picked these up the other day... from the 1991 to 1996 Era.



Just need to find a green and a black "Rescue Ranger" (the orange body style) and I'll have the complete rainbow.


Also found this "chase" car just chilling gonna peg at the Target.

 

My neighbor had a Volare Road Runner a few years ago. They were actually nice cars, but the Road Runner part was just some decals and bolt on trim by 1976. He saw the movie Fast and Furious 1 and sold it when he got into the Tuner cars. I think a turbo Mitsubishi Eclipse took its place with a WRX following.

I will be still looking when I can to see what is going on, but I doubt I will have the time to be involved with Tacoma world for a while with what I am currently dealing with what is going on at home. I have to make better use of my time unfortunately. My wife recently had a heart procedure which helped alleviate one crisis, but I have 3 more with both of my in-laws and mother in declining health. Keep posting those cars. I may still comment when I can.
