Better yet, try on at cycle gear, order from rocky mountain atv closeout or revzilla.

If your going to buy in person the Helmet Center is a locally owned place.
I dont have any affiliation but when I lived in the valley a few years ago they were pretty cool,

I would check out Ride Now chandler to check out their Klim Gear! I like trying on my gear also because I’m a little thick lmao. Jk but yeah I like to do the same. Cycle gear is pretty good too, but I noticed that I couldn’t get certain types of gear in store such as Klim Dianese, and a few other brands.

It’s fun in the sand and rock, it will go anywhere you dare (slowly)
The lack of HP, suspension and brakes will also make you a better rider.

They are great little tractors. I love the small yammy dual sports.
My first dual sport was a XT225, I took that little mule some ridiculous places.

Didn’t know they had a try on option. Last time I was buying always had to pay for return shipping or a restocking fee so I wanted to avoid that.
I’ll check them out. I’ve driven past it a few times. Also cycle gear owns revzilla now.

Ridiculous places… Smiley Rock trail western edge of Woodchute wilderness. When I “discovered” this trail and saw the endless rock down the first chute if I were riding my dirt bike I would’ve turned back but riding the Tdub… why not.

Great places… Coco Trail Riders White Hills single track loops. Really appreciate the time and labor involved in laying out these loops.

Anybody looking to ride this weekend? The weather will be a little bit cooler at least.

Small to Medium bikes, B-C Level riders? Im open to riding area but was thinking Sycamore Creek staging area though im not super familiar with the riding area (typically do boulders). If any interest, I can drop a PIN and meet there early Saturday AM.

Lol I broke my foot at Syvamore Creek 10 weeks ago ha. Hit some big ass ruts in the ground and hit 4 back to back and bike slammed on my foot. I’m back on twos I just hate the sandy area going back to the staging area. Also lugging around a Ktm 790 which is heavy as shit lol

For sure man, usually head up from there to 4 peaks or out towards Bartlett. Its just close enough to do a half day. I could be convinced to ride Cottonwood/ Box. Coming from Ahwatukee.

Which way do you take to get to Four peaks? Haven’t been back up to 4 peaks riding yet. I did go up to sunset lookout which is on the way up to 4 peaks. I feel that that area is like the worst part of the ride up because it’s more of a wash area. Then it’s mostly hard packed sand and dirt and gravel the rest of the way up to four peaks.

    looks like a good ride.

Schnebly is definitely worth doing. But the rocks and traffic make it a one and done deal imho

unfortunately pink Jeep and side by sides own Sedona , and I don’t think that is going to change.

one of these days I have to do the full casner mtn schnebly loop.

    Cool picture, I like that XD4 color^^^

Schnebly is cool to do but man its low and slow.
Last time I was eating a snack near the first rock step and a SXS came blasting around the corner, slid out and ended up in a ditch about 30ft from me. All that to be said, a lot of rookies decide to have their first adventure on that road. What bike were you riding? - Heavy bikes take skill so hats off to ya.

I ended up taking the old XR650R and explored around Box Canyon this weekend. The weather was about perfect, hitting the trails right at 7am. Not too much SXS traffic and managed about 100 miles of mostly fast two track and rutted out hill climbs. I made it down to the actual canyon which ended up getting pretty tough. If I wasn't alone, I was going to try the upper step. The lower step wasn't too hard for a bike. This ridge trail ended up being awesome, about as good as two track can get.

In all honesty I only saw 2 SxS while there. They were actually slow going and with a family. I took the KTM 790 Adv R up there. Not going to lie I got stuck on one part I took a bad path and bike got lodged on top of the rock. The bike is pretty heavy and I did get a little tired when getting out of it haha had to take a break. Nice I like box canyon but I couldn’t go my myself there ha. You see maybe one vehicle ever couple hours and sometimes none.
